RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday day shifts with 8-hour schedules
• Shift times: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 8:00 AM team may occasionally need to stay late to recover patients
• No call responsibilities and no weekend coverage required
• Support the cath lab specifically and the holding area
• Patient ratio of 5:1 during day shifts
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Must have 1 year minimum experience with Epic EMR system
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• Must complete pre-assignment testing and modules within 48 hours
• Orientation occurs every Monday
• May be required to float to other qualified units per census needs
• Must be proficient in cardiac catheterization procedures, interventional procedures, and various cardiac monitoring equipment
• Extensive skills required including IABP placement, pacemaker insertion, vascular closure systems, and procedural sedation monitoring
