RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work night shifts, 36 hours per week with 13-week contracts available
• ED Holding Support position located in the Float Pool within the Emergency Department
• Care for patients waiting for inpatient beds who may have any medical/surgical adult diagnosis
• Handle MS/Tele cases with 1:6 ratios or PCU level patients with 1:4 ratios
• Float to ED and MedSurg areas as needed based on census and skill sets
• Every other weekend required
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed, must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Cannot work more than 5 days in a row and/or more than 60 hours per week
• 12 hours of unit orientation required
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start
• Navy scrubs required
• 2 years minimum experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Required skills include MS/Tele, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, telemetry monitoring, blood product administration, peripheral line care, phlebotomy, PICC line management, heparin protocols, chest tubes, CPAP/BiPAP, high flow nasal cannula, ABG interpretation, and tracheostomy management
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• NC or Compact license required
• May be required to work Storm Team/Hurricane Team during catastrophic events
• 8-10 hours of non-billable modules must be completed pre-start and annually
