Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
RN - PCU
Job Details:
• 36 or 48 hour guarantee per week
• Minimum 1 year experience required, first timers accepted
• Care for adult to geriatric patient population
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH
• Patient ratios: 1:4-5 PCU, 1:5-6 MS/MS Tele
• Float required to all MS, MS/Tele, PCU units within the hospital
• Must have Epic charting system experience (required), also use Pyxis and SBAR
• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
• Work every other weekend (average 6 weekends in a 13-week contract)
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
• RTO blackout dates during Spring Break (April 4th-12th)
• No call requirements
• Holiday work required based on assignment period coverage
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Full compliance required to start on time
• GA or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
• Two supervisory references highly preferred at submission

The facility provides interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, lift teams, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary support. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and utilizes modern technology systems to support clinical operations.

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
