Opportunity:

RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratio
• Weekend coverage required with call requirements of one weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) per month
• On-call required one weekday every week
• 2 years of experience required, first-time travelers accepted
• SC license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• EP/Cath experience required
• Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency
• Hospital issued scrubs for Cath Lab
• Epic charting system
• Work with adult and geriatric patients
• Handle approximately 20 cases daily in 5-room unit
• Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, electrophysiology procedures, cardiac stent placement
• Circulate procedures and monitor procedural sedation
• Work with specialized equipment including Impella, balloon pump, Angiojet, and Shock Wave
• Peripheral and coronary diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks as guaranteed hours allowance
• During hurricane season (June-November), may be assigned to emergency response teams
