Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour shifts, weekdays with up to 2 weekends per month
• This is a dedicated float position requiring flexibility to float between ICU/Intermediate/Stepdown/MedSurg units based on patient volume
• Must be willing to work 2 of the 3 major holidays during contract
• Patient ratios typically 1:5-6 depending on unit and patient acuity
• 13-week contract assignment with ASAP start
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (must be AHA certified)
• 2 years of nursing experience required plus 2 years of travel experience required
• Must have recent EPIC EMR experience and proficiency
• Active North Carolina or multistate nursing license required
• Dress code requires all white or all navy scrubs
• Care for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• Skills include peripheral line care/management, oxygen administration, isolation precautions/PPE, rapid response team activation
• May be required to float to CNA level discipline within scope of practice based on facility staffing needs
• Must reside more than 40 miles from facility (local rule)
• No holiday RTO requests accepted
• Blocked schedule requests considered if requested at time of submittal
