Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• Minimum 1 year experience required, will accept first-time travelers
• Must have neuro experience and scrub experience
• Must be within 45-minute radius for call back
• Call required: weeknight backup call 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM Monday-Friday
• Weekend call: 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM Saturday and Sunday (can be primary or backup)
• Holiday coverage: 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM when needed
• 40 hours of orientation required
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT, ARRT VI, Fluoro Permit
• Maryland state license required (pending license acceptable but must post prior to start)
• Perform interventional radiographic procedures independently without direct supervision
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Daily census of approximately 10 patients in 3 rooms
• Must have experience with various procedures including angioplasty, embolization, stent placement, biopsies, and catheter placements
• Required equipment experience: nephogram, kyphoplasty, peripherals, biopsies, hemodynamic monitoring, stroke, NIR experience
• May float within facility and to nearby affiliate hospital
• Virtual modules completed on first day (8 hours for new starts)
• Maximum assignment length of 365 days with required 6-month separation period
