Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts from 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM
• Call requirement of 90-120 hours in a 6-week schedule
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• Travel experience required
• First time travelers accepted if they have Level 1 Trauma experience
• Required certifications: BCLS and NBSTSA
• Must work with patients of all age groups: adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Specialization in vascular and thoracic surgery cases
• AM shift focuses on peripheral vascular procedures (needs more vascular than cardiovascular)
• PM shift focuses on cardiovascular procedures (heart and lung experience preferred)
• Must be proficient in complex procedures including: receiving pump lines from perfusion and preparing for cannulation, Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Atherectomy, Atrial Septal defect repair, Cardiomyoplasty, Carotid Endarterectomy, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft, Endovascular procedures, Heart & Lung Transplant, Valve Replacement, and Aortic Dissection
• Floating required within hospital or to affiliate hospitals
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Two pre-approved time off periods allowed
• Must provide 2-3 days of interview availability when submitting
