RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM) or 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) based on staffing needs
• 6-week schedule requirements include working 2 weekend nights and 1 summer/winter holiday call and shift
• Float to GI unit or Center One Surgery Center as needed
• Scrub and circulate experience preferred for all surgical procedures
• Patient ratio of 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• 3+ years of experience required with Level I Trauma, liver and kidney experience
• BSN degree required
• Must have Trauma certification with 2-3 years Level 1 Trauma experience
• Previous charge experience required
• Travel experience required - no first-time travelers
• Required certifications: BLS, NBSTSA or NCCT
• PA or compact license required at time of submission
• Use Cerner charting system
• Work with adults only in 14-room, 14-bed unit with daily census of 30
• 40-hour orientation period
• Local rate differential applies for candidates within 50-mile radius
• Complete labs within 48 hours of signing and PA fingerprints required
