Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology

Job Details:

• Work varying shifts anytime between 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Minimum 1 year experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Patient population includes adults to geriatrics
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT R or ARRT N
• Must have Epic charting system experience (required)
• Rotate through 4 SPECT locations and 1 Cardiac PET department
• Cardiac-only department with average caseload of 10 patients per day per site
• Work every other weekend unless specified elsewhere
• Occasional weekend call during the day (Saturday, Sunday, and holidays 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
• Float within facility/scope of practice as needed between all locations
• Must work major holidays if they fall during assignment period
• Required to wear red scrubs
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
• RTO blackout dates during Spring Break (April 4th-12th)
• Work with equipment including Spectrum Dynamics, NucTrac/Syntrac, and Syngo Dynamics
• Perform procedures including adenosine infusion, bone scans, brain scans, exercise/rest studies, liver scans, nuclear cardiology, pharmacological stress tests, and SPECT imaging
• Must maintain IVs and perform various nuclear medicine procedures
