RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Night shift position
• 4:1 patient ratio for days, nights, and weekends
• 24 hours of orientation required
• Travelers are not required to pick up on-call shifts
• If on-call is picked up, must arrive to facility within 30 minutes
• Care for patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Work in 13-room, 13-bed emergency department with daily census of 40-50 patients
• Current New Mexico or multi-state Registered Nurse license required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA)
• Emergency and/or critical care experience preferred
• 1+ years of experience required, 2 years preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Charting system experience required (Meditech)
• Must maintain smoke/nicotine free campus policy
• Keep RTO to a minimum, expect to work some holidays
• Floating may be required in rotation with client staff
• Travelers within 70 miles of Silver City, NM are considered local and not accepted
• Previously employed permanent facility employees within the last 2 years not eligible
