Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

• Perform routine and specialized radiation treatments according to physician-developed treatment plans
• Work independently with flexible shift times starting anywhere between 5:45 AM to 8:30 PM
• Treat adult and geriatric patients with daily census of 50 patients
• Execute safe and precise procedures to deliver accurate treatment results
• Provide competent patient assessment, monitoring, and effective communication
• May perform specific procedures and orient other staff to the department
• Required certifications: ARRT T, BLS (AHA), and valid state license
• Must have experience with Elekta, Mosaiq, and AlignRT systems
• Epic experience preferred
• 2 years of experience required for submission
• Travel experience required
• Skills required include external beam therapy, IMRT, stereotactic radiosurgery, respiratory gating, and radiation safety
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• 7-year work history verification required
• Modules completed during orientation through e-learning (1-5 hours average)
