Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 3 shifts per week schedule with weekdays and some weekends
• Patient ratio of 4:1 during days, nights, and weekends
• May float to ER, ICU, and LDRP units
• Care for medical surgical, orthopedic, and general surgery patients
• Provide care for post-operative joint replacement and medical patients
• Treat patients of all age groups including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Daily census of 12 patients in a 23-bed unit with 20 rooms
• Required certification: BCLS
• Preferred certification: ACLS
• Kansas state license or compact license required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers and locals accepted
• Previous charge experience preferred
• TruBridge (formerly CPSI) EMR experience preferred, willing to train
• Skills include IV starts, telemetry, charge experience, orthopedic procedures
• Total hip and knee replacement experience is a plus
• Rural health experience is a plus
• Must complete average 1 hour of non-billable modules pre-start
• One reference required for submission
