Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Details:

• Work in Cardiovascular Operating Room with adult and geriatric patients
• Expected to assist in General OR when no CVOR cases are scheduled
• Call requirements: every 3rd day and at least 1-2 weekends per month
• Call hours: 1500-0700 weekdays, 48 hours on weekends
• Weekend coverage as needed
• Holiday coverage as needed
• Maximum 7-day RTO policy
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA or ARC only)
• EPIC charting experience required
• Skills include: CVOR procedures, atrial septal defect repair, CABG, MAZE procedure, mitral valve replacement, TAVR, cell saver, blood product administration, infection control, laser safety, radiation safety, specimen handling, universal protocol, and wound management
• Pre-start modules required (5-6 hours to complete)
• Manager interview required after clinical screening
• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility
• Float to General OR as needed
