Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

MRI Tech - MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 night shifts from 5:00 PM to 5:30 AM on Thursday-Saturday schedule
• 36 hours per week schedule only available
• No call requirements and no float requirements
• Work independently in department during third shift with occasional operations assistant
• Handle daily caseload of approximately 40 cases across 3 MRI rooms
• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience required
• Must be competent on both Siemens (Avanto and Sola) and GE Premier MRI equipment
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT(R) or ARRT(MR)
• Experience required in various MRI procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal imaging
• Must have experience with diffusion imaging, gradient echo, image post-processing, and various specialized techniques
• Experience in outpatient, inpatient, ER, community hospital, and adult ICU settings required
• Proficiency in PACS and contrast administration required
• Must work with adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• One week orientation on first shift before transitioning to independent night work
• Use EPIC charting system and Visage PACS
• Required to wear royal blue scrub tops and bottoms
• Must complete lab testing within 48 hours of signing contract
• 13-week contract length
• Interview required before offer
