RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 36 hours per week on 11 East Nephrology unit
• Maintain 4:1 patient ratio during days, nights, and weekends
• Weekend coverage required as needed
• Strong Med/Surg Telemetry and Neurology skills required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Travel experience and large facility experience required
• Epic EMR experience required (minimum 1 year)
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Must be competent in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Use of Rapid Response/Code teams experience required
• Care for adult patients ages 18-87 with diverse mix emphasizing nephrology population
• Handle newly diagnosed diabetes, ESRD, stable trauma, and Med/Tele cases
• Must be willing to float to other units within the health system as needed
• Complete pre-assignment testing and modules within 48 hours (up to 16 billable hours)
• Orientation occurs every Monday
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• Must be greater than 100 miles from all facilities or meet specific distance exceptions
