RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work in Intermediate Intensive Care Unit (IICU) with 1:3 patient ratios
• Care for adult patients including trauma, medical, surgical, and neurology cases requiring monitoring or interventions every 1-2 hours
• Receive direct admissions, ICU transfers, and escalations from Rapid Response Teams
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience and at least 1 completed travel assignment required
• Previous IICU/ICU experience with acuity of at least 1:3 required
• 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
• Must be proficient in cardiac monitoring, emergency response, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Medication management skills including titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips required
• Ventilator experience required
• 6 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule period
• Must be willing to float to other units or campuses as needed based on qualifications
• Active South Carolina or multistate license required
• Pre-assignment testing and modules must be completed within 48 hours
• Special equipment includes Hercules patient repositioners, ceiling lifts, and Airtaps
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
