Description
Opportunity:
RN - ER
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Schedule options include 3x12s or 4x12s per week
• Every other weekend requirement
• No on-call responsibilities
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• 1 year of nursing experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• May be required to float between downtown and northeast campuses due to census and staffing needs
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH
• Preferred certifications: NRP, TNCC
• South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
• Epic experience required
• Scrub color requirement: Royal Blue and White
• 30 hours of orientation provided
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Block scheduling may be accommodated with prior approval
• Must be aware of potential emergency response team assignment during hurricane season (June-November)
• Care for patients of all ages including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Work in 16-bed emergency department with daily census of approximately 60 patients

This acute care hospital is a 304-bed facility that provides comprehensive emergency services with specialized support from respiratory services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation departments. The facility utilizes Epic charting systems and offers STEMI and stroke certified services. The emergency department features modern equipment and interdisciplinary support to handle a wide range of medical conditions and trauma cases.

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
