Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg Tele
Job Details:
• Work night shifts, 36 hours per week with 13-week contracts available
• This is an ED Holding Support position located in the Float Pool
• Care for patients in the Emergency Department waiting for inpatient beds with any medical/surgical adult diagnosis
• Handle MS/Tele cases with target ratios of 1:6 or PCU level patients with ratios of 1:4
• Float to ED and MedSurg areas as needed based on census and skill sets
• Every other weekend required
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start
• 12 hours of orientation required
• Navy scrubs required
• Cannot work more than 5 days in a row and/or more than 60 hours per week
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• May be assigned to Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team during catastrophic events
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Preferred skills: NIHSS, IV insulin protocols, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Central line management
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Must complete 8-10 hours of non-billable modules pre-start and annually

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
