RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday, typically 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM schedule
• Early start times may require clocking in at 5:45 AM for 7:00 AM cases or 6:40 AM for 8:15 AM cases
• Must have 2 years of experience minimum with cardiothoracic experience required
• Pennsylvania nursing license required at time of submission
• Travel experience required
• BLS certification required
• Circulating skills required
• Patient ratio of 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Required to take weekday call 1-2 times per week, staying until cases are finished then on-call from home
• Must live within 30-40 minutes of facility for call requirements
• Weekend call required 1-2 weekends per 6-week schedule from Friday 3:00 PM to Monday 7:00 AM
• Weekend call coverage from 7:00 AM Saturday to 7:00 AM Monday
• 10 orientation hours provided
• Care for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• May float to other sister facilities within 10-mile radius as needed
• Complete fingerprinting within 24-48 hours of signing
• Complete 15-panel drug screen within 24-48 hours of signing

Facility:

This healthcare facility operates a dedicated cardiovascular operating room with a specialized heart team of 3 registered nurses. The facility performs an average of 2 cardiac cases daily and features 10 rooms with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary services. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and requires extensive compliance measures for all clinical staff.
