Description
Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg Tele
Job Details:
• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Every other weekend requirement
• On-call rarely required, if needed for first 4 hours only
• May need to float within scope to meet facility needs between like units
• 2 years of Med Surg/Telemetry experience required
• South Carolina or Multi State/Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Preferred certifications: NIHSS
• Epic charting system experience required
• Must wear royal blue scrubs
• Care for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• Skills include management of dysrhythmias, telemetry monitoring, cardiac care procedures, wound care, IV management, and various specialized procedures
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• During hurricane season (June-November), may be assigned to emergency response teams
• Average 4 hours of non-billable modules required pre-start
Facility:
This acute care hospital features 304 staffed beds and utilizes Epic charting system. The facility provides comprehensive medical services with interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretaries. The medical surgical telemetry unit maintains a 10-bed capacity with daily census of 10 patients, offering specialized cardiac and telemetry monitoring services.

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
