RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required, first-time travelers accepted
• Patient ratio of 1:5 on a 16-bed unit with average daily census of 16
• Care for adult to geriatric patient population
• Work with patients experiencing post MI, heart failure, arrhythmias, chest pain, and peripheral vascular disease
• Perform peritoneal dialysis procedures
• Utilize telemetry, EKG, and Doppler equipment
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Must have Epic charting system experience (required)
• Work with Pyxis medication system and SBAR communication
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
• RTO blackout dates during Spring Break (April 4th-12th)
• 6 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule period
• Floating required within facility/scope of practice as needed
• No call requirements
• Holiday work required based on assignment period
• 24 orientation hours with modules completed during orientation
• Full compliance required to start on time
• Georgia or compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
• Two supervisory references highly preferred at submission
