Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available
Opportunity:
Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology
Job Details:
• Work in Interventional Radiology with 1:2 patient ratios during day shifts
• 3 years of experience required with 2 years of recent specialty experience
• Must have full year of in-specialty experience within past 12 months with no gap in employment greater than 90 days
• On-call required: weeknights approximately 1-2 per week and every 5th weekend
• Weekend coverage: call only
• Float to X-ray department when IR is not busy
• Regular floating may be required between departments, units and facilities as needed
• 16 hours of orientation required
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT R, Kansas state LRT license
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must complete Epic training modules before start date
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Work with GE Innova IGS equipment and PACS system
• Perform extensive interventional radiology procedures including aortography, embolization, stent placements, vertebroplasty, PICC line care, and various angiography procedures
• Maintain sterile field, equipment setup, and room circulation duties
• Stock supplies and maintain inventory
• Care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Maximum 7 days request time off allowed
• Guaranteed 3 shifts per 13-week contract

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
