Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts with every other weekend requirement
• Option for 4x12 schedule available
• Float to like units as needed
• Possible charge nurse responsibilities as needed
• Patient ratio of 1:6 for adults and geriatrics population
• 30-bed medical surgical unit
• 30-minute lunch required - no skipped meals policy
• Must adhere to facility call-in policy
• Alabama nursing license required
• Current BLS via AHA certification required
• Fit test required
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Level II trauma experience preferred
• Travel experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Skills include: IV starts, isolation precautions, wound care/wound vac, blood product administration, peripheral and PICC line management, heparin and insulin administration, PCA management, surgical drain care, oxygen administration, colostomy/ileostomy care, feeding tube management
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
• Schedules cannot be adjusted once contract is confirmed
• Local candidates within 60-mile radius considered
