Opportunity:

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 84 hours biweekly with 72 hour guarantee on alternating 36/48 hour schedule
• Must be agreeable to floating between Med Surg and PCU units
• Weekend coverage required as needed, which may include most weekends during contract
• Patient ratios: 5 patients during days, 6 patients during nights
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with MS/PCU overflow diagnoses
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• Minimum 2 years of experience required with travel experience strongly preferred
• Epic charting system experience strongly preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Must complete lab items within 72 hours of accepting offer
• License must be in-hand before start date
• Local radius 50 miles not accepted
• Hard documents due 3 business days prior to start
• Orientation modules average 2-3 hours and are non-billable if completed in first 16 hours

This healthcare facility operates a Progressive Care Unit that provides intermediate-level care for patients requiring more intensive monitoring than medical-surgical units but less than intensive care.
