RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work day shifts approximately 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM (end time may vary by an hour)
• On-call coverage required
• Weekend coverage required with varying number of weekend shifts per contract
• 1:1 patient ratio during procedures
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• 7-bed cardiac catheterization lab with 1 procedure room
• Minimum 2 years of cardiac catheterization lab experience required
• Travel experience strongly preferred
• Texas RN license or compact state license required
• Must live more than 150 miles away from facility or live in a metropolitan area
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale
• Experience with MedHost and GE MacLab systems preferred
• Charting experience with Allscripts required, Altera experience preferred
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
• Must be available to complete required lab work within 72 hours of accepting offer
• Complete non-billable orientation modules averaging 6-8 hours
• Facility conducts mandatory drug screening upon arrival including marijuana testing
• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, angioplasty, stent placement, pacemaker insertion, and other cardiac procedures
• Work with specialized equipment including MERGE HEMO, Philips X-ray, Philips IVUS, and Penumbra systems
