RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required (Saturday and Sunday)
• No call responsibilities
• Float required as needed to other units
• Must be willing to work as Charge RN when needed
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Previous travel experience required
• Charge RN experience required
• BLS certification required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Must pass mandatory EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
• Patient ratio experience of 5-6 patients
• Care for adult and geriatric orthopedic and medical surgical patients
• Telemetry monitoring capabilities
• 24-hour orientation provided
• Zero tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• Must complete compliance requirements by 12 noon EST the Wednesday prior to start date
• Subject to float to any facility campus if needed

This medical center features a 32-bed orthopedic unit that provides comprehensive care for adult and geriatric patients. The facility offers advanced orthopedic services with an on-unit physical therapy gym, allowing patients to receive rehabilitation without leaving the unit. The hospital provides interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams, ensuring comprehensive patient care in a modern healthcare environment.
