Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

MRI Tech - MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Work 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Handle daily caseload of 15-25 patients per tech
• 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• On-call required: 2 call shifts per month
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT Advanced, Florida license
• Scrub colors: Navy Blue, Burgundy, or Khaki
• Charting system: Cerner EMR experience required
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Must have outpatient, inpatient, ER, community hospital, and adult ICU work setting experience
• PACS and contrast skills required
• Siemens equipment experience required
• Knowledge of neuro exams, vascular exams, pre and post neurosurgery exams required
• Must work independently with excellent communication skills
• Patient safety is number one focus
• Knowledge required for brain perfusions, diffusion, and other neurological imaging
• Work with two 3Tesla magnets (Siemens Trio and Skyra)
• All neurosurgery cases performed at this facility
• Must live at least 100 miles from facility (100-mile radius rule applies)
• Florida license or compact license required at time of submittal
• May float within hospital as needed
