RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work in Med/Surg and Transitional Care areas with patient ratio of 1:4
• Available for day shift or night shift positions
• Multiple shift options available: 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts
• Guaranteed hours: 40 hours weekly for 8/10-hour shifts, 36 hours weekly for three 12-hour shifts, or 48 hours weekly for four 12-hour shifts
• Every other weekend requirement
• Float within scope to Transitional Care Unit as needed
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• No on-call requirements
• Maximum 5 days RTO with no RTO allowed within first two weeks
• 1 year of experience required, first-timers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS; PALS preferred
• Compact RN license accepted, pending license acceptable
• Care for patients of all age groups including pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Handle medical, orthopedic, podiatry, and general surgery patients
• Work with interdisciplinary team including physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy
• Charting system: Cerner (experience preferred)
• Any scrub color acceptable

Facility:

This acute care hospital provides 24-hour emergency care with full medical and surgical services. The facility features 25 staffed beds and includes an attached 71-bed skilled Extended Care facility. It operates as a Level IV trauma center and maintains a low-level ICU. The hospital offers comprehensive interdisciplinary support services including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, and pharmacy support with nursing supervisors staffed each shift.
