Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 day shifts Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Call requirements include approximately one weeknight per week and one weekend every 3-4 weeks
• Must have scrub experience and serve as first assistant to operator
• Perform complex cardiac interventions utilizing advanced equipment including OCT, IVUS, Rotoblator, Shockwave, drug coated balloons, and CTO equipment
• Experience required with Impella CP, RP, 5.5, IABP, Manifold, balloon/stent prep and deployment, and pericardiocentesis
• Handle cardiac stent placement, diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, percutaneous coronary interventions, and interventional procedures
• Work with adult and geriatric patients in a 7-room cardiac catheterization laboratory
• Must be willing to float within site and across the health system as requested
• Complete assigned education within one week of assignment
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT-R, OBMI (Oregon state license)
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off allowed with no RTO permitted in first 2 weeks
• Subject to mandatory cancellation terms with 1.5 hours notice

Facility:

This acute care hospital is a 554-bed teaching facility and Level I Trauma center that features a brand new cardiac catheterization laboratory with state-of-the-art Philips Azurion systems. The facility offers seven dedicated procedure rooms with western-facing windows, private call rooms with showers for staff, and dedicated environmental services support seven days per week including overnight coverage. The hospital utilizes Epic charting system and maintains Magnet designation, reflecting excellence in nursing care and patient outcomes.
