Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• Work 10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday with varying off days
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• On-call required with possibility of 2-3 calls per week and at least 1 weekend per month
• Weekend coverage required
• Work in cardiovascular operating room with 12 operating rooms available
• Handle cases involving adults, adolescents, and geriatrics for general and neuro surgery
• Preferred experience with cardiovascular cases
• 2 years of surgical tech experience required
• Travel experience required
• First-time travelers not accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, CST, NBSTSA strongly preferred
• Scrub experience required
• Must maintain aseptic technique and follow universal protocol procedures
• Experience with CVOR, CABG, mitral valve replacement, and TAVR procedures preferred
• 30-hour orientation period
• One pre-approved time off request allowed
• Strict no-tobacco policy with nicotine testing
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Charting system: Cerner
• Free parking available in South Parking Garage
