Opportunity:

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 84 hours biweekly with 72 hour guarantee on alternating 36/48 hour schedule
• Must be agreeable to floating between Med Surg and PCU units
• Weekend coverage required as needed, may include most weekends during contract
• Patient ratios: 5 patients during days, 6 patients during nights
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with MS/PCU overflow diagnoses
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• One pre-approved time off period allowed
• Minimum 2 years of experience required, travel experience strongly preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience strongly preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Must complete lab items within 72 hours of accepting offer
• License in-hand required before start date
• Documentation due 3 business days prior to start
• Modules completed during orientation (2-3 hours average)
• Skills include telemetry monitoring, cardiac care, post-surgical care, wound management, IV therapy, and various specialized procedures
