Description

RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - IMC

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• 48-hour shifts can be offered with overtime billed only after 48 hours
• Patient ratios of 1:3-4 for both days and nights
• Minimum 2 years of experience required with neurological stepdown experience preferred
• Must not be a first-time traveler
• Required to work minimum 3 weekend shifts every six weeks
• Float requirement to other intermediate areas and critical care units
• 32 hours of orientation including 8-hour computer class plus two unit shifts
• Scrubs must be any combination of navy blue and white
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start
• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH
• Preferred certifications: CCRN, TNCC, CPI
• Must be able to titrate LEVO and work with various drips
• Experience required with neuro stepdown, PCU/DOU/IMC/stepdown, telemetry monitoring
• Skills needed include cardiac monitoring, emergency response, IV therapy, medication management
• Must handle neurological conditions including CVA, traumatic brain injury, seizure disorders
• Work with Epic charting system and PYXIS medication management
• Strict call-off policy enforcement with no RTO allowed once on unit
• Must demonstrate teamwork approach and meet behavioral expectations
• Cannot work more than 5 days in a row or more than 60 hours per week

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
