Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Electrophysiology Technologist - EP Tech Radiology Cardiology

Job Details:

• Work in a busy electrophysiology lab performing 6-12 procedures daily
• Late shifts required with no call responsibilities
• Self-scheduling available
• Work with 4-room EP lab facility
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Must have skills in scrub procedures, circulate procedures, and procedural sedation administration/monitoring
• 2 years of electrophysiology experience required with implants, complex ablations, LAAO, cardioversions, tilt table and TEE procedures
• Must have stamina and skills to meet expectations in a high-volume referral center
• Work with complex patients with anesthesia coverage for 95% of procedures
• Treat adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• Float within scope if needed
• BSN preferred
• EPIC charting experience required
• Natural nail policy enforced
• Complete 6 hours of non-billable modules during orientation week
• Two pre-approved time off days available
• Virginia or compact state license required

This medical center operates a state-of-the-art electrophysiology laboratory equipped with advanced technology including Biosense Webster Carto, multiple ultrasound systems, Medtronic cryotherapy, GE CardioLab, and specialized X-ray equipment. The facility serves as a referral center for complex cardiac patients and provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation services.
