Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• Work 10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday with varying days off
• On-call requirements: 2-3 calls per week and at least 1 weekend per month (24 hours Saturday and Sunday)
• Depending on staffing mix, may work up to 10 weekdays per month
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• Work in cardiovascular operating room with 12 ORs and 2 rooms
• Handle cases for adults, adolescents, and geriatrics including general and neuro surgery
• Preferred experience with cardiovascular cases
• Required certifications: BLS, CST, NBSTSA strongly preferred
• Must have 2 years of scrub experience
• Travel experience required
• No first-time travelers accepted
• Must be comfortable with procedures including CABG, mitral valve replacement, TAVR, carotid angioplasty, and other cardiovascular surgeries
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Use Cerner charting system
• 30-hour orientation with additional modules completed through Relias/Net Learning portal
• Strict no-tobacco policy with nicotine testing
• One pre-approved time off request allowed
