RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Circulate procedures in Interventional Radiology/Interventional Neurology and provide patient care in prep/recovery phases
• Float to all 3 hospitals within 20 miles (Martin North, South, Tradition) as needed
• On-call required - must respond to hospital within 30 minutes when on call
• 18 months experience required, 2 years preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
• Skills include interventional radiology, angioplasty, carotid stenting, upper and lower extremity angiography, interpretation/management of dysrhythmias, pressure ulcer assessment/prevention, sheath removal/monitoring, vascular closure systems, radiation and laser safety
• Must be nicotine free - negative 10 panel + nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required
• White scrubs required
• EPIC charting system
• EKG and pharmacy test required during orientation with maximum 2 attempts each
• Complete time-sensitive modules (6-15 hours) pre-start and annually
• First-time travelers accepted
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application
