RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• 2 years of experience in specialty required
• Must have experience with 1:6 patient ratios
• Every other weekend requirement
• Floating required within scope
• No block scheduling allowed
• Must be available to work mandatory 5 shifts for clinical orientation week (36-40 hours first week)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH
• Rapid Response team experience required
• Total joints experience required
• Mixed unit high acuity including Med Surg, Med Surg Tele and PCU
• Must be greater than 30 miles from facility (no locals)
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Free parking in any unrestricted space
• Any color scrubs allowed
• Meditech charting system
• Plan for at least 4 hours to complete modules prior to start date
• Holiday requirements: work 1 Eve and 1-2 holidays depending on assignment length
• No RTO during first or last week of assignment
• 3 call outs results in termination
• Schedule changes may occur up to 48 hours before shift

This acute care hospital features 210 staffed beds and provides comprehensive medical services to the community. The facility operates a mixed unit combining Med Surg, Med Surg Telemetry, and PCU services, handling high acuity patients. The hospital offers interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams. An interventional cardiac catheterization lab is available on-site, supporting the facility's cardiac care capabilities.
