Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour shifts Friday through Sunday from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Call requirement of 90-120 hours in a 6-week schedule
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• Travel experience required (first time travelers accepted if they have Level 1 Trauma experience)
• Required certifications: BCLS and NBSTSA
• Must have experience with vascular and thoracic surgery cases
• Specialized procedures include: receiving pump lines from perfusion and preparing for cannulation, Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Atherectomy, Atrial Septal defect repair, Cardiomyoplasty, Carotid Endarterectomy, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft, Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, Endovascular Aortic Repair (EVAR), Femoral popliteal bypass graft, Laparoscopic Cardiac Surgery, Mitral valve replacement, Pericardial window, Robotic Assisted Cardiac Surgery, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair (TEVAR), Ventricular Assist Device (VAD), Heart & Lung Transplant, Valve Replacement, and Aortic Dissection
• AM shift focuses on peripheral vascular side with more vascular than cardiovascular cases
• PM shift focuses on cardiovascular cases with heart and lung experience preferred
• Treat patients of all age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Floating required within hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby
• Must provide 2-3 days of interview availability when applying
• License must be in hand prior to start date
