RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work in mixed unit covering Med Surg, Med Surg Tele and PCU
• Must have experience with 1:6 patient ratio and be comfortable caring for PCU level patients
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Must work every other weekend
• Float required within scope of practice
• Mandatory 5 shifts for clinical orientation week (36-40 hours first week)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH
• Orthopedic and total joint replacement nursing care experience strongly preferred
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Chart using Meditech system
• Any scrub color acceptable
• Must have Florida or compact RN license
• Complete 4 hours of modules prior to start date
• Strict attendance policy: 3 call outs results in termination
• Schedule changes may occur with 48 hours notice
• Holiday requirements: work 1 eve and 1-2 holidays depending on assignment length
• Must be greater than 30 miles from facility (no locals)
• No block scheduling allowed
