RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts
• No call requirement
• No float requirement
• Must have both circulating and scrubbing experience - this is a hard requirement
• Minimum 2 years of recent operating room experience required
• Cannot have been out of acute OR setting for more than 6 months
• Travel experience required
• Must have strong experience in at least 2 of these 4 specialties: neuro spine, ortho spine, vascular, or robotics
• Required certifications: BLS
• Handle 45 cases across 17 operating rooms
• Work with patients of all age groups: adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Specialties prioritized as: Neuro/Neuro Spine, Ortho/Ortho Spine, Vascular, Robotics, Urology, Podiatry, Oncology GYN, and miscellaneous procedures
• Use unit systems including PYXIS, EPIC, and SBAR
• Complete 36 hours minimum orientation over three days
• Ceil blue scrubs provided
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Cannot work more than 5 days in a row or more than 60 hours per week
• Complete 8-10 hours of non-billable modules pre-start and annually
• NC or Compact license required
