Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work 36 or 48 hours per week in the Intensive Care Unit
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Travel experience required
• Patient ratio experience of 2-3 patients
• Must be willing to float to Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, and Emergency Department for critical care holds
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC or TCAR, NIH, 6 hours total of stroke education, EKG course completion
• Cerner charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Care for patients aged adolescents through geriatrics
• 20-bed unit with daily census of 15 patients
• Weekend coverage required
• One pre-approved time off allowed
• Must live outside 50-mile local radius
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions allowed
• Skills include neuro and surgical intensive care, cardiac monitoring, ventilator management, arterial line management, and various critical care procedures

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
