Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech

Job Details:

• Work 40-hour weekly schedule Monday through Friday from 7:45 AM to 4:30 PM with 45-minute meal break
• No call or weekend requirements
• Floating to other units required based on facility needs
• Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Must be a registered diagnostic medical sonographer
• Required certifications: ARDMS, ARDMS OB/GYN, BLS
• Preferred certifications: ARDMS FE, NT (Nuchal Translucency)
• Epic charting system experience required
• GE equipment experience required
• Scrubs not provided - any color acceptable
• Required skills include high risk OB and outpatient gynecology
• General ultrasound skills: abdominal aorta, appendix, breast, gallbladder, liver, pancreas, pediatric abdomen/pelvis, spleen
• OB/GYN skills: 1st, 2nd, 3rd trimester, amniotic fluid index, fetal anatomical survey, placenta previa
• Neonatal skills: bone lengths, cerebellum, ventricles, head, heart
• Renal/pelvis skills: bladder, hernia, ovaries, prostate, renal/bladder, uterus, vaginal
• Small parts skills: breast cyst aspiration, breast ultrasound, superficial masses, testicles/scrotum, thyroid
• Perform level 1 OB scans and GYN scans
• May be assigned to storm team or hurricane team during catastrophic events
• Cannot work more than 5 consecutive days or 60 hours per week per fatigue policy
• Must complete 4-5 hours of non-billable modules pre-start and annually
