RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Every other weekend requirement
• No on-call responsibilities
• Float within scope to meet facility needs and between like units/sister facilities
• 1 year of experience required, 2 years preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
• SC license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• CPI certification preferred
• Epic experience required
• Telemetry competency and cardiac telemetry experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Royal blue scrubs required
• 12 hours of orientation
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Care for adults and geriatric patients with average daily census of 15
• During hurricane season (June-November), may be assigned to emergency response teams
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only

This acute care hospital is a 286-bed healthcare facility that provides comprehensive medical services to the community. The facility utilizes Epic charting system and offers interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, and pharmacy. The stepdown unit focuses on intermediate care for patients requiring closer monitoring than general medical floors but less intensive care than ICU level.
