Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology

Job Details:

• 40 hours guaranteed per week with facility allowed to call off 3 times during 13-week assignment
• Minimal on-call requirements: 1600 to 0600 Monday-Friday and 24 hours weekends (majority already covered)
• Work with both inpatient and outpatient populations including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Operate 4 general rooms, 1 SPECT/CT, and 2 PET/CT units
• Perform normal diagnostic nuclear medicine imaging including cardiac, bone scan, HIDA, renogram, liver/spleen, and infection imaging
• Conduct SPECT/CT scans including infection imaging, MIBG, WB I-123 and I-131 imaging, Y-90 imaging
• Perform PET/CT scanning including FDG, Dotatate, PSMA
• Administer therapies including I-131, Xofigo, Lutathera
• Required skills: IV starts, phlebotomy, drawing venous blood, storing/handling/disposal of radioactive materials
• Use PACS system and Cerner charting
• Required certifications: ARRT N or NMTCB, ARRT R, BLS, NM State License (PET license preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Uniform requirement: Hunter green scrubs
• No floating to other facilities or sister units
• Must live more than 100 miles from facility
• Contracts must be minimum 10 weeks
• RQI certifications not accepted
