Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech

Job Details:

• Work 40-hour schedule Monday through Friday from 7:45 AM to 4:30 PM with 45-minute meal break
• No call requirements or weekend coverage
• Float requirement within facility as needed
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Must be registered diagnostic medical sonographer
• Required certifications: ARDMS, ARDMS OB/GYN, BLS
• Preferred certifications: ARDMS FE, NT
• Epic charting system experience required
• Work with GE ultrasound equipment
• Scrubs not provided - any color acceptable
• High risk OB and outpatient GE work setting skills required
• General ultrasound skills required: abdominal aorta, appendix, breast, gallbladder, liver, pancreas, pediatric abdomen/pelvis, and spleen
• OB/GYN skills required: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester, amniotic fluid index, fetal anatomical survey, and placenta previa
• Neonatal skills required: bone lengths, cerebellum, ventricles, head, and heart
• Renal/pelvis skills required: bladder, hernia, ovaries, prostate, renal/bladder, uterus, and vaginal
• Small parts skills required: breast cyst aspiration, breast ultrasound, superficial masses, testicles/scrotum, and thyroid
• Perform level 1 OB scans and GYN scans
• Cannot work more than 5 days in a row or more than 60 hours per week
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• May be assigned to storm team or hurricane team during catastrophic events
