Radiation Therapist - Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

• Work 5x8 hour shifts from 7:00 AM-3:30 PM or 7:30 AM-4:00 PM
• No on-call requirements
• No weekend requirements
• No floating between service lines or sister facilities
• First-time travelers accepted with 0 years minimum experience required
• Required certifications: ARRT(T) Radiation Therapist, BLS
• South Carolina State License through SCRQSA required
• Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency (facility does not provide)
• Open to accommodating block schedules
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Blue scrubs preferred, any color accepted
• Free on-site parking available
• Work with adult and geriatric patients (excluding pediatrics)
• Handle all cancer types and treatments
• Daily census of 40 patients with 45 visits per day
• Work in 2-room facility
• Special procedures include IMRT/VMAT, SBRT, and 3D treatments
• Equipment experience with External Beam Therapy, IMRT, Varis-Vision/ARIA, Siemens, and TrueBeam systems
• Skills required: Adult Outpatient care, Isolation Precautions/PPE, and Radiation Safety
• Charting system: Aria
• 4 hours of non-billable modules completed pre-start
• Must be available during hurricane season (June-November) for potential emergency response team assignment
