Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Echo Technologist - Echo Tech

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday with 8-hour shifts starting as early as 6:30 AM and as late as 8:00 AM
• No weekend or holiday coverage required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Daily caseload of 4-10 patients per technologist
• Float between Shawn Jenkins Children's Hospital and SMP (North Charleston clinic)
• Must have 2 years of experience (first-timers accepted)
• Registered Pediatric Sonographer (ARDMS) with PE certification or CCI with RCCS certification required at start
• Must be proficient in complex congenital heart defects
• Experience with GE (Vivid 95) and PACS system for entering full reports preferred
• Extensive knowledge of complex pediatric heart disease and defects required
• BLS certification required
• Must be proficient in scanning pediatric echocardiograms
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• All employees and contractors are assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November)
• Modules average 4 hours and are completed pre-start
