RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Minimum 1 year of experience required, first-time travelers accepted
• Both circulating and scrubbing experience required (HARD STOP)
• Work in main OR for General, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, Robotics, Urology, Vascular, and Colorectal surgeries
• 16 OR rooms with average daily census of 35 patients
• Patient population includes adults to geriatrics
• Call requirements: 7-8 calls in 8-week schedule including 1 weekend call and 1-2 weekend shifts
• Call shifts: C1 (7 PM - 7 AM) or C2 (7 AM - 7 PM)
• Weekend coverage: 2-3 weekends per 8-week schedule (either in-house or on-call)
• 2-3 weekday night call shifts during 8-week period
• Holiday requirements based on number of major holidays during assignment period
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
• RTO blackout dates: Spring Break (April 4th-12th)
• Floating rare but may occur within facility/scope of practice
• Required certification: BLS
• Work with Epic charting system, Pyxis, and 2 DaVinci XI robots
• Scrubs provided by facility
• 72 orientation hours required
• Full compliance required to start on time
• Georgia or Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Two supervisory references highly preferred
