RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Patient population: Adults to Geriatrics
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Patient ratio: 1:2-3 with 15 beds, 13 rooms, and average daily census of 12
• Must have Epic charting system experience
• Navy blue scrub color required
• Maximum 7 days RTO with blackout dates during Spring Break (April 4th-12th)
• Every other weekend unless otherwise specified
• Floating within facility/scope of practice as needed
• No call requirements
• Holiday work required based on number of major holidays during assignment period
• 12 orientation hours provided
• Travel experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Must be available to submit core items and complete/schedule labs within 48 hours of signing contract
• Work with Medical Surgical ICU diagnoses including Sepsis, Respiratory Failure, Cardiac Arrest, GI bleed, DKA, and other complex conditions
• Perform specialized procedures: CRRT, TTM, chest tubes, bronchoscopies, lumbar punctures, central line care, and continuous IV infusions
• Work with equipment including Spacelabs monitors, Zoll defibrillators, PrismaMax, Arctic Sun, wound vacs, and blood warmers

The organization offers interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy services to ensure comprehensive patient care.
