RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• 2 years of minimum experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Patient population: Adults to Geriatrics
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• 1:1 patient ratio
• OR scrubs provided by the facility
• Epic charting system preferred, Pyxis medication system
• Endovascular experience required with vascular service line and EVAR procedures
• Prefer experience with CSI and Penumbra equipment
• Every other weekend schedule unless specified elsewhere
• May float to Main OR in rare instances
• Overnight call after shift approximately 2 times per week
• Regular day call approximately once per month (13-15 days per month)
• Approximately 2 weekend call shifts
• Maximum 7 days RTO per contract with blackout dates during Spring Break (April 4th-12th)
• Holiday work required based on number of holidays falling during assignment period
• GA or Compact nursing license required at time of submission
• Full compliance required to start on time with all documents due Tuesday prior to start
• 40 hours of orientation with non-billable modules completed during orientation
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
