RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - PACU

Job Details:

• Work variable start times between 9:00-10:00 AM and end times between 7:30-8:30 PM
• Maintain 1:2 patient ratios
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted with previous ICU experience
• Required certifications: Florida state license, ACLS, BLS, PALS
• On-call requirements: One night per week and every third weekend (days and nights)
• Variable scheduling as needed by facility
• Provide post-operative care for general surgical procedures and interventional radiology patients
• Care for surgical patients both outpatients and inpatients, including IR procedure patients
• Work with special equipment including Hoyer lifts, bladder scanners, and dopplers
• Required scrub color: Royal Blue
• Use Cerner charting system (experience preferred)
• Must live at least 100 miles from facility location
• Complete pre-start modules (up to 8 hours billable)
• Pass EKG exam (3 attempts allowed)
• Smoke-free facility environment
